Our colleagues Gauthier Bouche and Pan Pantziarka are present at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago. During the Sarcoma Poster Session on Saturday morning June 2nd, they presented a poster on 'Drug Repurposing as a Source of Innovative Therapies in Osteosarcoma'.

Based on the Repurposing Drugs in Oncology (ReDO) list of 240 approved non-cancer drugs, they queried PubMed for each drug and screened all abstracts to assess relevance, type of evidence and mechanism(s) of action. The goal was to list existing non-cancer drugs active against osteosarcoma to prioritize future research and trials. Of 240 screened drugs, 65 have shown activity against osteosarcoma.
